We’re calling all creative Australians to help spread a message of support for the Yes vote in the upcoming referendum on a First Nations Voice to Parliament.

It’s time to recognise and celebrate Indigenous peoples’ profound connection to this land, and help ensure Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander voices take their rightful place in guiding our country forward. Let’s Create Yes – and make this conversation as big as we possibly can.

Get Involved

Create Yes is open to everyone.
Here’s how to take part:

  • Create your Yes. Type it, illustrate it, photograph it, make it move – it’s up to you. Do it solo or make it a team sport.

  • Post your Yes to your socials with why you’re voting Yes.

  • Tag @create.yes, #createyes and @yes23au in your post, story and reel. Be sure to share other Yes creations from our Instagram too.

  • Involve your friends, family and colleagues. Use your Yes to start a conversation. You never know who you could reach.

  • Spread your Yes. We’d love to see it at your work, in a shop window or behind the scenes at home. Every bit of awareness counts.

  • Pledge your support. Add your name to the board so we can show just how many people stand with us.

Polls are beginning to close across the country. Thank you thank you thank you for every single person that voted yes. Let’s make history. #createyes @yes23au (image: @sarahscontainer)

Thank you to everyone who’s taken part in Create Yes. We’re so proud of the work we’ve done together and the people we’ve reached.

It’s ok to be angry and feel hurt at the result. Over the coming days, remember to be kind to each other, and look out for your Indigenous friends.

This doesn’t stop here. We commit to standing by First Nations people.

Now, the need for activism is more not less. We’ll be in touch soon with our plans for how this amazing community can continue. #createyes @yes23au
@ingriddaniell : “ I support the Voice to parliament and will be voting YES!

YES, to a Voice that recognises and respects 65,000 years of Indigenous culture; in Australia’s 122-year-old constitution!
This is an opportunity to listen to advice from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people about matters that affect their lives, so governments make better decisions to help close the gap.

Everyone in our community should be listened to. Everyone should be treated equally, with kindness and respect.

But right now, First Nations communities are being left out of the big decisions that impact their daily lives.

This is a pivotal moment in history. The time is now to act together and enshrine the Aboriginal and Torres Straits Islanders Voice in the constitution.

If you don’t feel like you’ve got enough information to vote YES, head to @yes23au or yes23.com.au and find out more. This is a moment to come together.

Write Yes 🖤💛❤️

The day has arrived. Australia, let’s do this. Let’s VOTE YES. Because when we listen to people about the decisions that affect them, we get better results. For the past 250 years, we haven’t properly listened to the people who have been here for 65,000 years. It’s time we did. Yes makes a better future possible, for all of us. VOTE YES. #createyes @yes23au
